Photograms (2010-2011)

A photogram is the shortest way to producing a photographic image, as there is an immediate interaction between the objects exposed to light and the light-sensitive paper underneath. In the process, objects dematerialize and become abstract, leaving behind nothing but their 'footprints'. Most photograms in this series were made using multiple exposures (up to seven), with objects being removed or moved around in between, making it an interesting - and exciting - mental exercise to imagine what the final composition on paper will look like.
